Printed on archival, 310 gsm textured white German Etching archival paper, the Gull In Fair Isle giclee print is A4 sized and printed with archival inks to ensure longevity.
This cheeky chap was inspired by a particular Herring Gull that hung around our garden from spring and through most of the summer. He was quite a character, digging up moss from the lawn during nest building and later dive bombing anyone brave enough to stroll up the garden. He would alarm call loudly, protecting his chicks who were nesting on a neighbour's roof, warning all the other gulls perched on the surrounding chimney pots of imminent human danger. He also appeared to take great delight in waiting until the washing on the line was almost dry before using it as target practice - bedsheets were a particular favourite - doubling the already large pile of laundry. I have to be honest I wasn’t sad to see him go.
This print will fit a standard A4 picture frame edge to edge (210mm x 297mm). If you would like to display it with a border or mount then choose an A3 sized frame (297mm x 420mm). Alternatively these prints also look great hung using a magnetic wooden poster hanger, you will need one that is 21cm wide. Your print will come packed in a card envelope backed with board and a protective sleeve.
